Follow the GlitterWay Road.....Lady Gaga Concert at a Glance

Lady Gaga receiving a plaque to commemorate 51 million singles and 13 million albums sold. Congratulations GAGA!

The road to the Lady Gaga concert at the Los Angeles Staples center was anything less than an adventure. After taking a 3 hour bus ride to Glendale I accidentally ventured into 20 different directions, deserted and with no sense of where I was. My anxiety only grew as the clock ticked, every minute passed was another breath of desperation.  But finally, somehow, someway I made it, I found the "GlitterWay" and stepped into the world of GAGA.....

Arriving at the LA Staples Center I could already feel the excitement in the air, fans of all ages lining up ready to see a spectacle, and a spectacle they received. The show opened with a long stage curtain  slowly raised to reveal projections of the ultimate monster of them all. Soon after,  there she was at the top of a set of stairs, wearing that purple leather biker jacket and leopard latex leotard. And so began a night of glam rock and glitter galore.

The backstory of Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour drew on (my childhood favorite) The Wizard of Oz. A lost, but never distraught, Gaga was forced to trail through the subways and parkways of a world fit for a dancing, singing, piano playing sensation. In the end Gaga makes it to the ball accompanied by a packed house of dancing fans. Performing hits like Paparazzi, Disco Stick, Alejandro, Telephone and Bad Romance Lady Gaga and her very talented group of dancers were a spectacle to behold.

Overall there was a lot of excitement and expectation going in to a Lady Gaga, the reigning queen of show stopping wardrobe choices, and she didn't disappoint. The costumes, the lights the theme and her message supporting the LGBT community was exhilarating, because in the words Lady Gaga  "YOU WERE BORN THAT WAY!!!!!"
