The piece chronicles how Jimmy Choo, the namesake, made its round from the original Malaysian-born shoe maker, to Tamara Mellon, and how over its long period of success the company has been fragmented into investment groups like Phoenix Equity Partners, to Lion Capital TowerBrook and Gala Capital.
