Rachel Zoe talks to Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown
In more Harper’s Bazaar news, Rachel Zoe celebrity stylist and “fashion geek” was featured in an “I DIE” photo shoot portraying the many possible ways designers would kill her. Marc Jacobs electrifies her with a stand hairdryer, Vera Wang poisons her martini, while Michael Kors opts to burry her in designer bags. But does this depiction of death cross the line? Lets find out….
Every shot of Rachel Zoe with the accompanying designer assassin is (and appropriately so) prepared with finesse and over dramatization. The exaggerated arm gestures, the not so mysterious look on Zoe’s face and the unforgettable gaze on Wang’s face build up for an editorial edition that is more death by glamour, than glamorized death. The stark shadows and unlikely scenarios (I mean its not her former assistant being pictured) make for an overall interestingly funny shoot.
Finally I am doubtful that Marc Jacobs could carry out a murder wearing a cast and a skirt…but yet again he looks very convincing.
Now it is MY turn to ask, “How would you kill Rachel Zoe?”
